xml h5gen upgrade
h5gen is a tool for generating a regular binary HDF5 file from a corresponding XML HDF5 file. This is a valuable tool that has fallen into disrepair. It needs to be repaired, and also needs to be upgraded to work with the latest features of HDF5. (See also "XML HDF5 schema and tools.")
