File recovery tools
An HDF5 file may be corrupted during transmission, while in storage, due to a system crash, and for other reasons. These tools include "H5doctor,", a tool to help restore all or part of a corrupted HDF5 file. Also needed is a utility to scan and repair hdf5 files.
