A new release of the HDF5 High Level APIs is now available for
download from the following page:

Pre-compiled binaries for many of the platforms we support are available from this page.
Please note that with this release, several read/write functions in the Table API were changed to include an extra parameter.
A new release of the HDF Java Products, version 2.0, was
released in March. This version was tested with HDF5-1.6.2.

The main difference with this version is that HDFView is built with replaceable I/O and GUI modules. It consists of several interfaces that enable users to write and use alternative implementations to replace default modules. The current replaceable modules include:
